Ditlev Ulriksen

Ditlev Ulriksen – Singer and Choir
Ditlev Ulriksen has been a professional musician since the early 1990s and has performed at private and public events across the country and in large parts of the world.

Over the years, he has written songs and performed both under his own name and with, among others: Shotgun Revolution, Robbie Williams Jam, Innocent Blood (Love at First Hiccup), and many others.

Marta Kocon

Marta Kocon – Violin
Marta Kocon is a professional violinist, violist, and conductor. She holds a Master’s degree from the Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland, a postgraduate degree from the Carl Nielsen Academy of Music, and an LBRSM diploma in symphony orchestra conducting from the Royal Academy of Music in London. She has participated in numerous masterclasses in Berlin, Princeton (USA), Rome, and Portugal.

Marta is a versatile musician with extensive experience. She has performed with many professional symphony orchestras in Denmark and Sweden. She is co-founder and an active member as both violinist and violist in several projects, including: Kim Larsen Tour of Denmark, The Candlelight Concerts, Emerald String Trio, the modern viola/vibraphone duo The Chain, String Trio Diapason, La Violestra, and The Latin Strings. www.martakocon.com

Queralt Adam

Queralt Adam – Cello
Queralt comes from Súria (Catalonia). She completed her Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in cello performance at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) in Barcelona. In 2019, she won the Anna Riera Scholarship awarded by ESMUC.

In 2020, Queralt moved to Aarhus to pursue her Master’s degree in music pedagogy and cello performance at the Royal Academy of Music Aarhus/Aalborg (Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium). She is currently undertaking her Advanced Postgraduate Soloist Diploma at the Danish National Academy of Music (Syddansk Musikkonservatorium) in Odense.

She is also a member of Atika and the Aarts String Quartet, with whom she has participated in projects and concerts throughout Denmark, Iceland, Norway, the Faroe Islands, and Spain. In addition, she has performed with the Odense Symphony Orchestra and the South Jutland Symphony Orchestra

Natalia Pylypenko

Javier Palacios – Violin
Javier Palacios was born in Cuba into a family of musicians, with his father being a professional saxophonist. He began his musical journey on the violin and later switched to the viola. He graduated with honors from the Esteban Salas Academy of Music, specializing in viola performance. A highly active and well-known musician, he held the position of principal violist for several years in one of Cuba’s leading symphony orchestras. His musicality and expertise were highly appreciated, leading to appearances as a soloist with the orchestra in works such as Berlioz’s Harold in Italy and Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante, among others.

She has now lived in Denmark for several years, working as a freelance violist with various symphony orchestras, including the aforementioned Malmö Symphony Orchestra and many others. He is also co-founder and member of several chamber music groups and ensembles.

Mads Jacob Pagsberg

Mads Jacob Pagsberg – Bassist and Musical Director
Mads is an associate professor at the University of Copenhagen and an experienced musician, conductor, and composer with more than 25 years of experience in music education, conducting, and team development. He has led the University of Copenhagen Big Band since 1998 and has founded several music projects.

Mads has worked with international artists such as Eran DD, Gavin DeGraw, and the DR Big Band, and has composed works for major events. He is the author of several music books and is active as a bassist in the Copenhagen Jazz Funk Collective. In addition, he has extensive experience in music leadership and music production.

Boyko

Boyko – Saxophonist
Boyko moved from Bulgaria to Denmark in 1989, bringing with him 35 years of experience as a musician. He has played saxophone in various orchestras in Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, and Bulgaria. Over the years, Boyko has collaborated with artists such as Norman Fearington, The Scoops, Niels “Guffi” Pallesen, Nicklas Campagnol, Habyba, and others.

In addition to his performing career, Boyko has also worked as a music educator, teaching saxophone, bass, and guitar at various schools.

Simon Laulund

Simon Laulund – Guitarist
Simon is a guitarist and composer who works across a wide range of genres, including rock, pop, blues, jazz, and fusion. He is a permanent member of the progressive rock band Press To Enter and, alongside this, pursues a solo career with his instrumental guitar trio.

In addition, he works as a songwriter as well as a freelance and session musician for various bands and artists. He has worked and performed with Cold Night For Alligators, ÈTRE, Holm Beck, Lydhör, the Funen Percussion Academy (Det Fynske Slagtøjsakademi), and many others, and has also participated in numerous musicals.

Miguel Vandborg

Miguel Vandborg – Trumpeter and Teacher
Miguel Vandborg completed both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen, where he studied with Nikolaj Viltoft and Jonas Wiik. After finishing his studies, he has worked with various professional orchestras, and in 2021 he won a permanent position as a military musician in the Royal Danish Navy Band. He performs across a wide range of genres, including pop, musicals, classical, big band, funk, R&B, jazz, Latin, bossa nova, blues, and orchestral music.

Miguel Vandborg has performed with artists and ensembles such as Suspekt, Nabiha, Katrine Muff, Søs Fenger, Rasmus Bjerg, Dario Campeotto, Bobo Moreno, Kaya Brüel, Jordan Jackson, Sandra Elsfort, Hanne Fischer, Helle Gössler Christensen, Thomas Peter Koppel, Steen Hansen (trombone), Adam Rapa (trumpet), Kim Sjøgren (violin), Jan Glæsel (trumpet), The Bach Players (London), DR Big Band, Ensemble MidtVest, Copenhagen Brass Connection, Colombrass (Colombia), and many others.

Gorm Bülow Karrebæk

Gorm Bülow Karrebæk – Pianist
Gorm is a pianist and keyboardist with extensive experience in Danish bands, television, and theater productions, working as a musical director, sideman, and arranger. Stylistically, he works across pop, rock, jazz, and fusion.

Thomas Rubin

Thomas Rubin – Janitchar and CEO
Thomas Rubin is a janitchar, percussionist, and educator. He trained in classical percussion under Professor Bent Lyllof. After completing his studies, he has worked with various symphony orchestras and toured across Europe in diverse musical settings, spanning both classical and contemporary genres. His talent covers pop, musicals, big band, rock, country, jazz, fusion, bossa, blues, avant-garde, and orchestral music, among others. Thomas Rubin has collaborated with artists such as Søren Sebber Larsen, Peter Smith, Kapelmester Svend Skipper, Sissel Kirkeby, Kapelmester Ole Koch Hansen, Stig Rossen, Julie Bertelsen, Heidi Herlev, Paul Halberg, and Kim Sjøgren; as well as Kapelmester Lars Fjeldmose, Martin and Ketil, Thomas Steenberg, and opera singer Ian Hauglan.

In the studio, he has contributed to numerous music productions, working at Medley Studio, Øland Studio, Studio Wings, Studio 3, Anders Berntoft Studio, Out Haus Studio, Puk Studio, and many others.

Jerqui Fernandez

Jerqui Fernandez – Cuban Percussionist & Educator
Jerqui Fernandez is a Cuban percussionist with deep roots in traditional Cuban music and extensive experience across Latin jazz, fusion, and contemporary rhythms. He has performed and collaborated with musicians in Cuba, Canada, France, and Denmark, earning recognition for blending technical precision with authentic energy and musical joy.

As a dedicated percussion educator, Jerqui completed his formal training in Havana, Cuba, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Music as well as a professional diploma in percussion performance and teaching. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge, inspiring students of all levels, and fostering a love for rhythm and music.
